The minute you wake up until the second you fall asleep almost all products you use are already available in an optimised manner. During the DMY Festival, Eccellence shows the most energy efficient coffee machine, vacuum cleaner and monitor available on the market. Several solar energy based products are exhibited, enabling us to be independent of common energy sources. Furthermore products developed according to the Cradle to Cradle design protocol are presented: chairs, tables and cleansing products.

The world’s first environmentally optimised wallpaper BARNS, especially designed for the show, will be presented during the DMY Festival.

Eccellence focuses on sustainable product development within the wider framework of creating a sustainable society and is an initiative of Erik van Buuren who has vast experience on sustainability issues.

Eccellence develops basic and affordable environmentally optimised goods with a group of interdisciplinary and dedicated inventors, scientists, architects, designers and artists.

The Eccellence Show is Berlin’s first exhibition for outstanding ecological goods. Here the best examples of sustainable product development from all over the world are presented, which have been designed not only from the outside but also internally to meet the criteria of a new era. Eccellence aims to create an optimistic and realistic agenda-setting environment in which visitors are initiated to reflect sustainable decisions they can make today.
